Quality Local Restaurants and the Oreo Lick Race can be Lots of Fun

The popularity of cooking shows on the television and the number of cooking books on the shelves of the leading bookstores is testament to how food is an integral part of people's lives. We all enjoy going out to dine at a local restaurant, especially at those that use fresh ingredients and create modern, fusion dishes. Whilst, there are games that can be played at home involving cookies that are not only lots of fun to play, but that could also potentially lead to winning a pretty decent prize. What both these food related pastimes have in common is that they can be enjoyed by the whole family. So whether you want to go for lunch or dinner at a restaurant that has some great deals, or if you are up for trying the Oreo lick race, you can do so as a family.

The way the race is played is very straightforward. All that is required is a couple of Oreo cookies and glasses of milk and two willing participants. The aim is to twist the top off the cookie, lick the inside clean, dunk it in milk, devour the cookie and the down the milk. The winner is the person that completes this first. This is a game that should be played at home, although you may find that your local bistro offers a relaxed enough environment for you to play it after completing your three course meal; however, wherever you play it, just have some fun.
